For companies employing international staff in Japan
Japanese that holds up at work.
Corporate training, online and one to one.
Speaking up in meetings. Writing keigo that lands. Understanding what "hourensou" actually asks of you. These gaps rarely present as language problems — they present as productivity problems, and then as retention problems. United World Nihongo is corporate Japanese training designed by a staffing firm that sees what happens after the hire.

What this is
Training a company buys for the people it has already hired
United World Nihongo provides online Japanese training for companies employing foreign nationals in Japan. We build the curriculum around each learner's level and actual job, and deliver it one to one. It is run by United World Inc., a licensed employment placement agency (permit no. 13-ユ-318258). Pricing is quoted per engagement, based on headcount, current level and objective — there is no per-lesson list price for corporate programmes.
Being a staffing firm rather than a language school changes what we hear. The people who contact us are not learners looking for lessons; they are employers describing a hire that is not working out the way they expected. What is needed is usually not a complete language syllabus, but the specific parts of Japanese that this role, in this workplace, keeps getting stuck on.
Two audiences, and this page is for one of them
This English site is written for two readers: HR at a foreign-owned company in Japan, and the employee who will actually take the lessons.
If you are hiring or managing
You want a programme, a quote and a way to see progress. Start with Request a Proposal. Japanese-language subsidy schemes may cover part of the cost — the detail is on the Japanese side, at 助成金ガイド.
If you are the one learning
You want to know whether this will help with the specific thing you are stuck on. It probably will if that thing is email, meetings, or the vocabulary of your own industry. Tell us what you cannot do yet, rather than your JLPT level.
The Japanese-language site carries the full corporate guides — retention, subsidies, and the 2027 regulatory changes to Japanese-language obligations for employers. 日本語のサイトはこちら.
How it runs
Conversation
Headcount, current level, the demands of each role, and a concrete description of what improvement would look like. Online and free.
Trial lesson and level check
Two people at the same "N3" can have completely different gaps in speaking, writing and listening. We check rather than assume.
Curriculum and quote
Frequency, duration, content, and an indicative cost. If a subsidy may apply, we say so here.
Delivery and reporting
Online, one to one. Attendance and progress are shared with your contact.
Frequently asked
How many employees does a programme need?
Headcount changes how the curriculum is structured and what it costs, so tell us the number when you ask for a quote and we will say what we can do at that size.
Do you publish prices?
Not for corporate programmes. Cost depends on headcount, frequency, duration and whether industry-specific content is required, so we quote per engagement after a conversation.
Can lessons run outside Japanese business hours?
Yes. Early morning, evening and weekend slots are arranged around work schedules, and delivery is online, so location is not a constraint.
Do you support Japanese-language subsidy applications?
We provide attendance and progress records. The application itself is made by the employer, and eligibility is decided by the awarding body — we do not guarantee any award.
